What sizes can we offer?

We can produce a single piece work surface of any dimension up to 2400mm by 1200mm. Larger countertops will require a join. The minimum thickness we can make is 50mm. But we can provide drop down edges to give the appearance of much deeper without the cost/weight.

Colours?
Within reason most are available from White to Black with greys, beige, reds greens brown and blues in-between. Solid Black is the hardest to achieve and white is the most expensive. Sample colours are for a guide only as slight variations can always apply.

Finishes?
We can provide a smooth polished finish through to a fully exposed aggregate and all degrees in-between this is controlled through the level of grinding at the polishing stage.

Special design feature?
Inserts can by included in the Countertops to include; wood, fossils, stone, glass, tiles, metal lighting. Draining grooves and slopes can be in built for sinks.

Quotations?

We can provide a no obligation quotation free of charge but require accurate dimensions (length, depth, thickness) of the surfaces required together with a plan drawing if possible. Any extras eg. Hob/Sink Cut outs, Inserts, Drainers, etc. Colour and finish.). Site location.

How Long?
This really depends on the specifics of the project but as a guide allow between 3-5 weeks from placing the order to delivery.
Maintenance
Surfaces and products will be sealed to help prevent staining and for hygiene. However spilt foodstuffs should not be allowed to remain on the surface for long periods. Some strongly colored or oily ingredients may cause discoloration if left on the surface.
Once sealed the concrete is resistant to water as long as the sealed surface remains undamaged. The sealer should be reapplied periodically depending on intensity of use.
Cleaning/maintenance?
Our surfaces and products should be cleaned with warm soapy water. Scrubbing with abrasive powders or pads is not recommended as this may dull and damage the surface sheen and sealer coating. Corrosive / solvent materials and cleaners should be avoided.
Depending on the surface sealers applied, a 1:200 diluted bleach solution may be used to clean the surface. Ensure the surface is rinsed down with clean water to remove all traces of bleach and dry with a soft cloth.
Edges / corners of the surface or product can be chipped if knocked by heavy items. Care should be taken when using heavy pots and pans.
It may be possible to mend chipped or damaged items.
Depending on the finish applied, a natural beeswax can be used to polish a surface or product.
Our surfaces / products are inherently heat resistant but the surface sealants used may be damaged or discolored by the heat from a hot utensil. We recommend the use of heat resistant pads.
